How To: Reduce Data Usage On Non-Rooted Phones

Hello friends,

I will be sharing with you today on how you can reduce your data usage on non-rooted android devices... Yes, that's what am talking about!

After i uploaded the article on How to: Reduce Data Usage on your Tecno Android using DROID WALL, some people were asking me (pm me on my facebook account) how they will be able to do it on their non-rooted phone, so this article is for you (the non-rooted users). What you just need is:

NoRoot Firewall:
With this app (no-root firewall), you can actually block apps from accessing either your WiFi networks, your 3g network or both. You just need some few clicks. That's all!

HOW TO USE IT:

• After downloading, install then open.
• Click on Start. If you are prompted with a message, mark i trust this app, then click allow.
• 
• After that, click the Apps Tab, then choose the apps you want to access your wifi, 3g or both networks. Check picture below I marked N7 Player, Opera mini and Proton Browser only for my 3g Network.
• 
• After that, minimize the app, on your data usage app and start surfing the internet to see the magic! Check Picture Below 
• 

See the picture above, it allowed opera mini but denied bbm, go launcher ex and so on. Isn't this Cool?
