It's Black Friday: Hot deals on every online store!
Hello friends,
Finally it's black Friday... And it's kind of funny because of so many reasons. I know you will definitely be wondering what's funny about it but you won't understand.
For over 2 weeks, we (Nigerians) have been getting lots of adverts from leading online shopping stores in Nigeria concerning their unbelievable deals but the result isn't like the adverts.
Every friend I communicated with on whatsapp and other social networking platforms told me of their intentions in purchasing of extra gadgets; preferably android phones from these stores this Friday because of the discounts placed over this goods. Some of them have stayed up all night just for this; wishing to have the fastest fingers but...
Note, I even joined in this quest of purchasing a discounted phone but some thing else happen.
Immediately it was 12:04am, I got the pop up text about the device and it new price. I happily clicked on it but lo and behold, I got the error text... "can't locate server bla bla bla".
I immediately switched to my Google chrome and I received same message. That was when I finally noticed that their site was down.
Oh! This is so heart breaking; it's just as if am a survivor of a broken relationship. I better sleep now and reserve my data cos I believe this guys aren't ready to sell any thing!

Glo 1.2GB for N1000: Best Plan for Android Users
If you are having troubles rooting your android phone in order to change the IMEI number just to do the Glo blackberry plan (for my naija peeps #winks) then don’t stress yourself anymore.
Glo just made life easier with their newest plan; N1,000 for 1.2GB Jeeez! It’s so true!
Note: This is not a cheat, it’s a legal Glo plan. So, your conscience won’t be pricking you lolz.
How to activate this plan:
Dail *777# from your Glo line
Choose 1 – Data services
Choose 1 again – Buy data
Choose 2 for monthly data
Then finally choose 1 for 1.2GB – 30 Days.
That’s all and make sure that you have the sufficient airtime.
NB: If you are lucky, you will get 75 percent on any recharge you do on glo (dormant customers for 30 days). So after recharging 1000 for the plan, you will still have 750 naira to call/sms all networks in naija… Cool right?

Better Ways to increase your Android Battery life– Helpful Tips
Hello friends,
I get this complain every time from friends and people around me asking me how to make their android battery last longer stating that it’s the major problem they encounter using the OS.
Have wrote some articles about battery saving tips on this blog. Click this link to read one of them - CLICK HERE and am here with more tips that will save your battery better. It works great!
Battery Saving tips for your Android Phone
1. Install only useful APPS!
I keep stressing this because it’s very important if you want more battery life. There is really no point installing lots of apps and you’re only using few of them. If what you always say is that “these apps will be useful one day” then what I suggest is that you backup those apps and uninstall it. When they become useful, install them back.
There is nothing to be proud of if you have 200 apps and you only use 12 on daily basics. Kick them out now!
2. Avoid using heavy launchers (themes).
This will shock you!
This advice is the best I can give to you. If you are this music loving person, you use your phone to make phone calls or you are the social media type, it’s advisable to use the phone for those functions. Am not against the idea of using beautiful themes and launchers but what’s the benefit of using those launchers to beautify a phone that switches off before 24 hours?
It’s best you pick one beautiful looking static wallpaper for your phone just to give it that beautiful feel and ignore some of these launchers that drains your battery quickly.
NB: Same goes with live wallpapers. Avoid them because they consume more battery and RAM than normal static wallpapers.
3. Avoid those apps that automatically clears your running app / ram.
I know you will be shocked with this also for this is another important tip I think you should know.
If you know your battery doesn’t serves you, uninstall those apps that automatically boosts your phone RAM or clear running apps – hope you know such apps? Those apps are good though but your battery life is more important.
If your phone isn’t on, I don’t see how those apps would run. So, it’s better to do everything possible to keep your phone on for those important calls, messages and so on.
You can clear your running apps manually after you are through with them even though this might be stressful.
4. Turn off data connection when not in use.
This point already explains itself.
After surfing the web and you sure that you aren’t expecting any message from someone, it’s good to turn off your data connection. Leaving it on makes apps that uses data to be running in background that’s why some times you see some adverts displaying even when you aren’t surfing the web anymore.
This also include WI-FI connections. If you doubt me, try it one day.
I can go on and on with more tips but I think this is enough for this post. If you practice these tips listed above, am very sure you will enjoy your phone better.
I will be sharing more tips in the future… So please bookmark this blog and subscribe to our newsletters.
How to Clean a Rough Face using your Android Phone
Hello friends,
…am here with something interesting today; some tricks for your android phone.
I keep on saying it that android is a smart OS and you must do things smartly with it lolz. It’s very annoying when you take a snap shot during a special occasion and when going through the pictures to upload to the net, you noticed that some parts of your face are kind of rough (either pimples, rash or something similar) and you really want to edit the face to look smooth.
The thoughts of heading to photoshop to do this edit breaks your heart maybe because you are far from your computer or you don’t know how to use the software.
Why worry about it when you got your android phone with you. Image Blur App does the magic.
IMAGE BLUR:
Going by the name, you should know what the app does… It’s for blurring either the background of your image or some particular parts you don’t want to be obviously visible. It’s really cool for those functions.
I thought of other use of the app and I came up with this article. You can actually use image blur (or background image blur sometimes called so) to clean those annoying pimples/rashes on the face. Now continue reading below…
How to do this Simple Trick:
- Download and install the app (image blur) from this link --- CLICK HERE
- Open it and locate the image you want to edit with the gallery icon.
- Click the zoom icon then double tap on your screen or pinch to zoom.
- Now click the brush icon and drag it backward to reduce the brush size.
- Finally, with your finger on your screen, rub every part of your face to get the smooth effect applied.
Note: Avoid rubbing the eyes of your image. You can touch the lips and nose a little. Check out the picture below.
…that’s just all, check how the picture looks below and how it looks now. It’s a magic lolz
If this post was helpful, please share it with your friends. Thanks!

Hello friends,

I remember when 2go came to Nigeria, most of use immediately joined it probably with our old numbers. And after joining then, you will be credited with either 250 go credits or so; can’t remember. And let’s say you finished using those free go credits and didn’t purchase a new one. And during that period of having zero go credit, you lost your sim card and didn’t retrieved it. After purchasing a new sim, you can’t buy go credit and accept go credits on 2go anymore. You can’t chat in a room or in a group chat because you didn’t verified that particular number.
I know you will be wondering that what sup with all these long story. The story above is the reason for this post because have gotten a lot of requests from friends asking me that how can they verify a lost number on 2go lolz. You can’t verify a lot number that why you need to change the number in your 2go profile. Now, read how to do this below
How to Change 2go Number

2. Click Change Number
3. You will be directed to a link, continue using opera mini or any other browser you like.
4. Now put your new number in the provided box and click proceed. And click yes in the next screen.
5. A text message will be sent to that number, click the link to continue.
